Writer's picture: Claudia PerezClaudia Perez

A few years ago, going out to dinner in the area of Doral you were supposed to reach the 87 Ave., and choose from the numerous offer of fast food restaurants. There was a Chili's (which is still there), Hooters, Miami Subs Grill (which has already closed), and some other small family places scattered among the various small shopping centers. Then came the Dolphin Mall and attracted people looking for other dining options. Currently, Doral is a community in its heyday, not only is it a right place for business or to establish a store, with the same boom restaurants have appeared that have placed Doral on the map of the Miami culinary. If you do not believe me, check out this little guide that we offer below:

Marfil is a restaurant of relatively new fusion Mediterranean cuisine led by the Chefs, Jesus Godinez, and Mariano Araya. The restaurant is divided into three concepts: a bistro that is open for lunches and dinners; a coffee for a quick and casual breakfast, and a lounge that starts with a happy hour and that usually has live music. Enjoy dishes such as lobster ravioli, sea bass 'a lo macho' or grilled ribs empanadas accompanied by a dessert like a wonderful grand marnier souffle.
